Tapulanga Foundation was founded in 2001 with the vision to share God's gifts and good news through educational, medical and micro-credit projects. Our work is mainly in providing scholarships to the children of the farm workers of Hda. Tinihaban and neighboring farms to study in St. Francis of Assisi School, a small private Catholic institution established in 1964 with a vision to provide quality Christian education to the children of farm workers.
We also provide many other opportunities to the children, e.g. field trips, watching movies, concerts & plays, computer and swimming lessons, annual recollections and more. Medical help is also extended to the farm workers and the families of Hda. Tinihaban through our yearly free clinic and medicines, eye consultation, eye glasses and dental assistance. And in 2005 we started our Micro-Credit fund to provide opportunities for small-scale entrepreneurship in the Hda. Tinihaban and neighboring communities.
Our work in Tapulanga Foundation will not be possible without the generous support of our donors who not only share their financial blessings but share their time, talents and material blessings to us. Our donors come from all over the world. Some pledge to send a child to school while others donate used books and old toys or share their services (e.g. doctors, dentists, optometrists, teachers). The Foundation provides opportunities for as many people to help in any way they can. Our world will be a better place if we helped each other.
