2009 Maryland Fundraiser

$15,000 raised in the 3rd annual Maryland fundraiser. Congratulations to Neal Jarvis for winning the raffle for the 13-inch MacBook Pro.

A benefit dinner and silent auction was held last Sept. 20, 2009 at Kahler Hall in Columbia, Maryland. About 120 guests came for the Filipino food buffet dinner, silent auction and computer raffle to benefit the educational, healthcare and micro-credit programs of Tapulanga Foundation.

The guest speakers for the evening were Lia Ridout and her kids Gianna and Gabriel who recently visited St. Francis of Assisi School. They shared stories of their visit meeting students, teachers and families from the St. Francis community. Below is a short clip of their talk.

Micmic Golez (Executive Director of Tapulanga Foundation and Administrator of St. Francis of Assisi School) also shared a video message.

We also showed a video presentation at the event.
