2007 Maryland Fundraiser

More than $4,000 raised in the first annual Maryland fundraiser.

A benefit dinner and silent auction was held at the Columbia Art Center in Columbia, Maryland.  More than 100 guests came for the Filipino food buffet dinner and silent auction to benefit the educational, healthcare and micro-credit programs of Tapulanga Foundation.

The guest speaker for the evening was Mrs. Ging Ledesma Graham (volunteer at St. Francis of Assisi School and board member of Tapulanga Foundation).  She shared her work with the teachers and students and everyone admired her enthusiasm and energy.  Below is a short clip of her talk:

Featured in the silent auction were a variety of items from various individuals and businesses in Howard County.  Among the businesses that contributed to our silent auction were PlayWiseKids, Fruition Gifts, Devitt Financial Services, Frank Reiss Accounting Services, Taylor Legal, Computer Shop MD, Percworks, JFK Lawn & Landscape, Anderson Vaughn Interiors, Nuss Fine Arts, Columbia Art Center, Richard Radhe Accounting Services, Patrick's Hair Design, Anne Lehan Marketing Services and Wolf River Enterprises.
